I went for 7 months about 2 years ago when I had hit a really low point, and was finally able to admit that I wasn't ok and hadn't been for a while, and needed help. And although I was terrified to go to my first appointment, and it was certainly difficult and painful at times, it's one of the best decisions I ever made - and what really helped me heal and turn things around in my life. So glad that you affirm this as an incredibly helpful thing to have as a regular part of your life, and aren't afraid to share that with the world. Keep it up! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01638284567440125844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9001561676016305592.post-34996000494955337142014-11-21T12:35:38.908-05:002014-11-21T12:35:38.908-05:00YES! Therapy IS awesome! And so are you. And this ...YES! Therapy IS awesome! And so are you. And this post. One thing I would add for people looking into therapy is that sometimes it can take time to find a good fit. I swore off therapy after going to two really unhelpful therapists-- I thought the problem was me but it turns out we just weren't good matches. It happens. But once I found a therapist that clicked with me, it was incredible.MegGrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00317991982530074427noreply@blogger.com
